Nicholas is the founder and Chairman of the company and plays a key role in drawing up its business strategy.

Expertise

As well as helping in the management of the company, Nicholas is very much hands on at the conceptual design and planning stages of landscape architectural projects.

Skilled in landscape design and visual assessment he has, over the years, expanded the company’s expertise beyond Landscape Architecture into Environmental Assessment, Ecology and Visualisation. He actively promotes the synergy between these complementary disciplines.

Nicholas derives much pleasure from freehand conceptual drawing and from garden design for a range of clients. He is a voluntary Specialist Design Advisor to the National Trust on a number of its properties.

Project Experience

Nicholas has over 45 years’ experience in housing, infrastructure, public realm and regeneration projects, and has designed and contributed towards the delivery of a series of successful and award-winning projects, including development of the Wytch Farm Oilfield, Dorset, where he continues to offer guidance on developments at the site.

Career History

Nicholas started his career with Bracknell Development Corporation and, thereafter, worked for many years on major infrastructure development projects in the Middle East and South America before founding Nicholas Pearson Associates.
