Ecologists (Seasonal Surveyor(s) – Bespoke Contracts) Closing Date: 12 noon 28th January 2022
We are looking for seasonal surveyors for the 2022 ecology survey season. The position(s) would be based at our Bath office (noting the current coronavirus pandemic homeworking may well continue to be necessary). We anticipate the position(s) will be for a period of up to 6 months (likely to commence March 2022). The position(s) would be paid full time for 37.5 hours a week, or part time option can be considered. In this role, some weeks will be busier than others and you will need a willingness to travel outside the locality and work flexible hours, including night working.
Your main role would be organising or assisting in field surveys, but there would be an element of desk-based work such as assisting with survey preparation, data analysis and preparation of reports. Your work would be supervised and supported, providing valuable experience and training in ecological consultancy work.
We are looking for conscientious, self-motivated, enthusiastic ecologists with a willingness to learn and who can work collaboratively with others and independently on agreed tasks. You will have and be able to demonstrate:

We offer a competitive rate of pay (reflective of experience/skills) and reimburse business related expenses such as travel and subsistence. We pay for travel time to site and where agreed, offer paid overtime and TOIL for Rest and recovery. (Laptop / it support are provided and works phone can be provided if required.)
