Nicholas Pearson Associates has joined Global Ecology and Environmental Group (GEE), marking a new chapter in the company’s story while maintaining its established values and approach to practice.
A new chapter for Nicholas Pearson Associates
Founded in 1982 by Nicholas Pearson, the practice has been shaped by a long-standing commitment to the environment. It also reflects a belief in the value of specialist knowledge and collaborative working in delivering projects for our clients. As part of this transition, Nicholas Pearson is stepping back from the business and retiring, leaving a strong legacy and a respected team to take the practice forward. The practice will continue to operate from Bath, with its existing team, services and project work remaining unchanged.
What it means for you
Day-to-day operations will continue to be led by Managing Director Simon Kale and Director Jamie Farnell, ensuring continuity for clients and collaborators.
We will remain focused on delivering environmentally responsible projects across a range of sectors, including residential, energy, infrastructure, education, historic environments, commercial and leisure.
With many exciting projects currently underway, some of our recent work includes:
- Verified visualisations and townscape and visual impact assessment for Bath Rugby’s new stadium
- Landscape architecture, visualisation, ecology and biodiversity net gain services for a 281-home neighbourhood at Roundwood, Stevenage
- Ecology, biodiversity net gain and landscape design for the National Trust’s Saltram East project in Plymouth, a 32ha country park currently under construction
About the Group
GEE was founded in 2025 and brings together specialist environmental and ecological consultancies. The Group keeps each practice’s specialisms and ways of working while sharing resource, technology and expertise across the network, so clients gain a broader range of services without losing the people and standards they already know.
Joining GEE provides the opportunity for us to become part of a wider network of environmental specialists, while retaining and building on the values and principles that underpin our work.
There will be no change to existing client relationships or project delivery. Our team remains the same, but with access to more resources and support. We look forward to continuing our work with clients and collaborators in the same way, while building on this new opportunity over time.
