2012 saw record rises in solar power generation across the world, with an increasing contribution to the UK’s energy needs.
Nicholas Pearson Associates have worked on a considerable number of proposals for solar farms across the South of England, providing landscape, ecological and environmental planning support for several renewable energy companies. A number of these schemes have now received planning consent and are either in development or operational. Sites including some in Cornwall, Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset are now making a valuable contribution to the UK’s energy needs from renewable resources.
