Phase 1 of the Newton Park masterplan has delivered a state of the art dedicated teaching and studio facility for digital media technology within a new contemporary 8,000m² building, as well as a biomass energy centre, an amphitheatre, new walkways and garden courtyard spaces. Our landscape design strategy enabled many elements of the Registered Park and Gardens to be restored and our ecology strategy created new bat roosts.

We acted as a lead consultant in masterplanning and project strategy, conducting consultations, exhibitions and undertaking stakeholder liaison. We coordinated the Environmental Impact Assessment and also undertook Ecological Surveys, Ecological Impact Assessment, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments and prepared detailed landscape designs for the external realm to integrate with and enhance the surrounding parkland and campus landscape.

We have been retained by the University since 1993 to provide professional advice on matters relating to Landscape, Heritage Environment, Ecology and Environmental Planning. We have been involved in all of the major developments undertaken by the University in this period.
