We were initially appointed during the early feasibility stages on Bath Quays South, advising on key landscape and ecological constraints and opportunities. This led to providing key overarching advice across the overall development area, specifically associated with ecological surveys, detailed advice for bat roosts and habitats, riverside ecology, LVIA and Accurate Visual Representations, with respect to cumulative impact assessment. We provided Ecological Impact Assessment, Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment and Accurate Visual Representations for the three separate planning applications for the development and have continued to provide ecological support, including a Natural England Bat Mitigation Licence and Environmental Management Plans, into the construction phase.
Bath and the surrounding landscape has a number of planning and environmental designations, including the World Heritage Site, Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Green Belt and a Special Area of Conservation associated with rare species of bats. Our knowledge of the planning policy context related to these designations and our experience of development projects across Bath has been valued by many of our clients.
