The day saw the streets of Bath cleared of traffic and taken over by scores of lycra clad athletes and enthusiasts alike, as the concluding stage of the Pearl Izumi cycle series came to Bath.
With a lap circuit set around Victoria Park, the Royal Crescent and the Circus, spectators poured out onto the streets of Bath to enjoy the spectacle and to make the most of the traffic tree streets. The weather was set fine and the atmosphere built throughout the day culminating in the deciding race of the series for the pro elite men. Team ‘Madison Genesis’ won the event and the series. The fastest lap was posted by Ed Clancy of team JLT Condor presented by Mavic in under 2 minutes!
