We undertook landscape and ecological surveys and prepared the relevant chapters of an Environmental Statement as part of an Environmental Impact Assessment for the application. The site included woodlands, watercourses and a network of hedgerows with mature trees which were carefully integrated into the proposed masterplan green infrastructure and SuDS strategy. We supported the urban designers in the preparation of the Design and Access Statement and Design Statement, Parameters Plans and Design Codes.
The development formed part of West Lindsey District Council’s strategic plan for growth after Gainsborough was awarded provisional Growth Point status within the East Midlands region in 2008.
