We prepared a landscape feasibility report for the proposals with the aim of facilitating access and providing an enhanced visitor experience of the Scheduled Monument whilst protecting and conserving its natural and historic character. The report identified the broader assessments required for future access and interpretation and advised English Heritage on the ongoing statutory approval process. The feasibility work involved extensive consultations with Natural England, Historic England and Cornwall Council.
We were subsequently appointed to inform the bridge design competition jury, develop the design of the landscape improvement works and prepare an ES, including LVIA and EcIA, in support of a planning application for the footbridge and path implementation.
