Ceri Griffiths

Associate

Ceri has been an ecological consultant since 2004 and has a broad experience collated from a diverse range of projects.  Ceri’s role includes Ecological Impact Assessment, Habitat Regulations Assessment, project management, ecological survey including protected species, devising and implementing mitigation strategies, and the preparation of biodiversity management plans. Ceri has experience on working on small applications, through to large urban expansions. She provides robust and pragmatic advice to multi-disciplinary project design teams, developers and other clients, ensuring early engagement of consultees, to deliver the best outcome.

She provides advice to clients regarding protected species issues and has successfully applied for numerous European Protected Species Licences (EPSL) for bats and development licences for badgers.  She holds Natural England survey licences for bats and great crested newts and is also a Registered Consultant for the Natural England Bat Low Impact Class Licence (BLICL). 

Ceri graduated from Swansea University with an MSc in Environmental Biology, after which she worked as volunteer woodland warden for the National Trust, gaining an understanding of conversation and management, before starting her career in consultancy. 

Ceri is a full member of CIEEM and is a south west CIEEM committee member. She is also a Natural England volunteer roost visitor.
